No. I finished up the project before I was able to use Navigator.
Not sure I would have checked, because, before today, I presumed the
advice between debug and Visual Explain would be identical.


Revelation of the /effect/ would have been identical for both; i.e. that the Arrival Sequence Access Path was used to implement the query. While the MESSAGES_DEBUG details may be deprecated, with index advice and VE via iNav encouraged instead, that messaging should be accurate for _what was done_ [esp. the final implementation reported], despite likely being limited in what was and could-be revealed via that older feedback mechanism.
