Jon, thank you for sharing this! I'd been off the Power i radar for
several years prior to January, and I'd not heard this. I used debug a few
months ago to get index advice and wondered why it didn't seem to give good
results. (At the time, the admins had not opened the ports for System
Navigator, so I was stuck with debug.) Very good information.

As Vern says, Visual Explain is the best and in practice should probably
be the only tool you use.
