Oh Charles, that's a hoot!

Sure he could use iNav's "Run SQL Scripts". Not that it has any better
prompter. Actually, it has no prompter. Sure it has "examples" as a
replacement. Still, Infocenter and otherwise actually learning the
statements is a better way to go.

What's even more of a hoot is that iNav and it's "Run SQL Scripts" is also
stabilized. There will be no 7.2 or higher of iNav. You're supposed to
use "IBM Navigator for i". (aka http://yourlparname:2001)
However that doesn't yet have any "Run SQL Scripts".

I guess pushing people towards this at least expands their horizons past
the simple statements the prompter supports.

Do you think IBM will be one last update into "Run SQL Scripts" to pop up
a message like
SQL6789-Have you considered using (insert next product here" instead of
Run SQL Scripts.
:-)

BTW, this STRSQL exit message is dropped at 7.2, at least at the level of
PTF's I am at.

And I'm only seeing it on some of my 7.1 machines. And they aren't using
this:
