with all due respect for Scotts example it is only the half truth.

As you can se my client code is rather simple while the server code
is not so simple.

This is due to Apache and the Mime format.

Apache only converts what it receives to EBCDIC if the Mime header is
Text/... otherwise you have to do it yourself.

Many web services requires a content-type Application/... and then you
have to convert the input and output buffer yourself.

To add to this the Mime header (content-type etc) has to be in EBCDIC

My Web Service should be written in RPG.. is it possible with RPG create
and return a XML,JSON text document and return it to the caller ??

Where can if find some example ?
