Re: Chromebook as a console

since that is the case how about a smallish laptop with a linux distro on it.
I have an ancient laptop win win98 on it for a console that I use infrequently.

Can you run java on it? If so it should work. Copy the IBM i Access Client Solutions .jar file on the thing and crank it up!
