Just curious,

Are you sure that your NetServer user is enabled? A simple CHGUSRPRF
YourUserID will enable it if disabled. Check out these IBM Docs:

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas8N1010992

I don't think CHGUSRPRF works for that any more.

The explanation of that change [that /loss/ of function for the Change User Profile (CHGUSRPRF) with all but the User Profile (USRPRF) parameter left specified as *SAME], and that the msg CPIB682 is not /corrected/ to reflect that change, are explained in the first document [with Reference #: N1018914 and TechNote title: "NetServer Disabled User ID List Clarified"] and in the second document [with Reference #:
N1010992 and TechNote title: "CL Program and Command to Re-Enable NetServer Users"].

P.S. I mostly only replied so as to add the reference number and subject\title [to the archives] because IBM is notoriously bad about keeping such links functional; at least with the additional context rather than merely the URL, a future reader of the archives might still have a chance of finding a [snippet of a] copy of or the original document [at a new location].
