Here's a DR recovery scenario to test.

Primary machine. No tapes are kept in that city. Only time you are
allowed to use tape on that machine is once a quarter full system save.
No quiecesing of applications in between those quarterly saves allowed.

For daily stuff you replicate with either Mimix or Domino to a different
machine and do your saves there.

What's your DR drill?
Call Mimix and perform an "unscheduled" switch and start running on backup
machine.
Use last quarterly save and restore machine.
Start Mimix sync process.
When sync is done, audits are complete and confidence is high (yeah right)
perform switch back.

Not that we've ever tested that. Ever.

Sure we test quarterly switches and run on the backup machine. We do that
right before the full system save. What we don't test is the 'restore'
process. Sure we've done the migration process. But as Jim and my
discussion pointed out earlier, there is a difference.
And let me tell you, it is really best to get Mimix involved early.
Calling them on Saturday afternoon and telling them you're doing a
migration and you've got an issue goes over like a turd in the punch bowl.
