That sounds strange - I find SQL Assist not to be very helpful unless I have it perfect.

Just a wild shot - do you have a slash or a dot between library and table? I think the tool assumes *SQL syntax, so try using a dot if you used a slash.

I copy the MQT statement into the New Materialized Query Table pop-up.

When I click CHECK SYNTAX, it says the check completed successfully.

When I click SQL ASSIST, it says the statement is not supported by iSeries Navigator, and then hangs. I have to go into Task Manager to cancel Navigator. Clicking on the red X does nothing.

That is the problem I am getting.
