Greetings, Couple of points to clarify.

The Link below is to our Web Site. Yes it does contain a link to the
latest version with a Trial License. But you do NOT need to load an older
version to get the license. What you need to do is sign into the ESS web
site to get the latest version with the 'real' license. Yes, I have fought
this and lost, this new Client is available to ANYONE that is current on
your Service and Support for IBM i. ESS is there to ensure you have
support. Once you have deployed that version, started it and (here is the
KEY) accepted the license. You no longer have to go to ESS to get the
updates. The support out on our iAccess Web Site is smart enough to
understand you already have the 'real' license and you are now set to go.

Customizing the configuration. YES, there are piles of customization you
can make. You can get to the details 2 ways, we ship a ReadMe with the
product, Actually unlike many of these sorts of docs, it really should be
read! Lots of details. Also from the Web Page -
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/power/software/i/access/solutions.html Click
on the link 'Getting Started' (online version of the Readme) Section 9 has
the info on customizing.

Also, at the upcoming Common Conference, there will be several sessions on
this product . Session to cover the basics of the emulator as well as a
session on the administration and configuration side of things. If you
are a Common member, that means you can also access the slides for the
session which will take the details of the ReadMe and build easy to follow
slides and uses cases to help with things like customization.
