Hi Glenn,

Paul has floating licenses which require the use of Rational License
Server. The server grants concurrent access for users for as many licenses
are purchased.

Hi Paul,

I'm not sure I'm reading your question right. I hope this might help.
I successfully downloaded and installed RDi.

When I logged into IBM's website, I saw 5 files to download.

IBM Rational Developer for i V9.1 Core Product Install 1 (CIZD1ML)
IBM Rational Developer for i V9.1 Core Product Install 2 (CIZD2ML)
IBM Rational Developer for i V9.1 RPG & COBOL Tools Activation Kit
(CIZD3ML)
IBM Rational Developer for i V9.1 RPG and COBOL Modernization Tools, Java
Edition Activation Kit (CIZD4ML)
IBM Rational Developer for i V9.1 Quick Start Guide (CIZ7LML)

I found there was a time delay between the time I received the email from
IBM and the files were available.
If after waiting sufficient time and they still aren't there, I suppose you
should call IBM.
If you were able to download the activation kits, this is how you import
them:

a. Click Start > All Programs > IBM Installation Manager > IBM
Installation Manager

b. Click Manage Licenses.

c. Select *Modernization Tools, Java Edition* and click *Import
product Activation Kit*.

d. Click Next.

e. Browse to the RDi folder you unzipped the files to.

f. Select com.ibm.rdi.modtools.javaed.v91.pek.jar.

g. Click Next.

h. Select ‘I accept the terms …’ and click Next.

i. Click Finish. Click Finish again.

j. Click Manage Licenses.

k. Select *RPG and COBOL Tools* and click *Import product Activation
Kit*.

l. Click Next.

m. Browse to the RDi folder you unzipped the files to.

n. Select com.ibm.rdi.rpgtools.v91.pek.jar.

o. Click Next.

p. Select ‘I accept the terms …’ and click Next.

q. Click Finish. Click Finish again.
Cheers.

Yours truly,

We just purchased 2 floating licenses for D0LJWLL - IBM Rational

I just finished downloading this from Passport Advantage Online.

I've been informed that I also need to download IBM Rational License key
server.
Is this a separate download, I did not see this on the PA site.
I see all the fixes for Rational Key Server on fix central.

Thank You
