The key is finding out if the printer has PCL loaded and licensed, since
UFR II and PS don't do much for you.
(Unless you want to print through a windows box, Ugh!)

The easiest way to determine that is to look at the PDL (Plug-n-play)
Selections.

If someone on-site can access the front panel
Setting/Registration button
(menu panel)
Function Settings then Printer then PDL Selection. They don't
need to change whatever's there, but if they do not see PCL when they
scroll, it isn't on the printer.

If the PDL is greyed out, the ULM - Universal Log in Manager has been
loaded. If you can't get the log in credentials, email me directly for
the default.

I work on the big printer side so this is not my support task, but I do
have a Canon Ir-ADV almost next to me and I'm printing from an i with no
issues.
