How to get rows changed with interactive MERGE statement?

Hi all,

I've been using MERGE in RDi using the Database Development perspective.

It's fun - but I'm not getting any information back that tells me how many rows were changed.

I have not yet used MERGE in an RPG program - but if I were doing so I assume I could check SQLCA to get info back.

Is something like this possible when running statements interactively?

When I run a straight select statement I get info on the bottom telling me the total # of records.  Would a different editor help?

Can I retrieve information after the statement runs??  I've used GET DIAGNOSTICS in the past - but it can't be run interactively.
