Previously I did

RSTLICPGM LICPGM(5733OPS) DEV(OPTVRT01) OPTION(*BASE) OUTPUT(*PRINT)
Do we need to RSTLICPGM for every option that currently exists or will future exist?

1) How many options should we have?
2) Will new functionality occur thru PTFs only if the option was previously installed via RSTLICPGM?,
3) or will additional RSTLICPGM need to be done in the future.

Paul

Subject: Re: 5733OPS IBM i Open Source Solutions - besides base, how many options are there?

From the developer works site I see the following:

Install & Setup Node.js on IBM i
Node.js is packed in 5733OPS - Option 1. Install the product from physical DVD media or image files. This is accomplished using the 'normal' IBM i software install process.
RSTLICPGM LICPGM(5733OPS)
RSTLICPGM LICPGM(5733OPS) DEV(*SAVF) OPTION(1) SAVF(NODEFILE)

I did an "install all" and it installed 15 options. Granted numbers 2-14 are non-existent. but might offer a glimpse in to the future.
