It looks like ...9Z has been the highest .
Never see a virtual greater than ...9Z.

The *** sequence can also include alpha characters. I also do what you're
doing, but with a CL program. I call it ZAPQPA.

What is the highest named QPADEV*** device allowed?
I never see a virtual named higher than QPADEV0099?
Even though I didn't hit the max, is there possibly a naming issue?.
No errors on iSeries side.
Received below error message on remote server.

I delete all virtuals with a AJS job every night.
