I don't see any PDFs disappearing, either. And they are usually not just
web page screenshots - the web content IS often the same and organized in a
similar fashion.
Just for fun, folks might like to take a look at the IBM Library Server
Library at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/LIBRARY - lots
of the older stuff is still there, and architecture manuals, like for
MO-DCA and stuff, is there.
Another curious site that is still there is the iSeries 400 Information

PDFs are going away.
If they were to go away, I'd probably whip up a script to scrape the web
site and make the PDFs I use all the time: RPG, DDS, and SQL reference.
