Kendall is correct.
This comes on a separate DVD, or image.
On my V7R1 DVD, it was on F_MULTI_NLV
DB2 Symmetric Multiprocessing.
All by its lonesome, nothing else on that DVD.
I'm not certain, but I think any LPP in the F_MULTI_NLV has its own DVD and/or iso bin file.

Doesn't SMP come on as a separate DVD/image file? Did you have that loaded as part of the upgrade?

I'm upgrading a system from V7R1 to V7R2 and 5770SS1 option 26 DB2 Symmetric Multiprocessing shows as *BACKLEVEL. I can't find much useful information, why isn't this just a V7R1 level option that runs on V7R2? How do I get a compatible version for V7R2? Will the product function in its current state on V7R2? Thanks.
