CMPPFM does have limitations. It was intended to compare source members - all the help text talks about is source files.

It CAN still be used with non-source PFs, though.

It IS limited as to file size - MSGID SPC5062 will be sent if you exceed the limit, which is based on the size of a user space - 16,777,216 bytes. See the message description for more details.
