Wintouch dates have been zoned decimal YYYYMMDD for years, possibly all the way back to the OPM RPG server, the SmallTalk client, and APPC/APPN communications.

But in the SQL Views we call the New Data Access Layer, all date fields are available in both the original numeric format and converted to an actual date field.
