1) Is PDF mandatory? Can it be text? CPYSPLF will create (ugly but
readable) text files. A little massaging will convert them into nicer
text files.

2) If DASD is a concern, maybe you could get someone to put a portable
USB terabyte hard drive on a Windows PC at the site and map that to the
IFS. Use that share to store the text/PDF output. instead of IBM DASD.
