I knew it!
And i concur Rob, when it's a VIOS partition it should be the
2.2.3.3-FIXNUMBR displayed. Maybe a change request? or a new item on said
view to see both?

IBM says that it reports the level of AIX that the VIOS lpar is running
and not the VIOS level because they use that to determine what levels of
drivers are also needed.
My thoughts are, if they can display the level on the screen then, by
golly, they can determine the level on a whim to determine the correct
drivers. The customers need more to know the VIOS level.

Having a tough time wrapping my head around
Partition 001 vios31
where "Current level" and "Available level" are both 6.1.0.0
when ioslevel is showing 2.2.3.3
What is "6.1.0.0" indicating?

This is a bug. Please open a PMR.

I am seeing similar on by V8R810 and V8R820 HMC code levels.
What's worse, it sometimes changes to show the proper
information and then will revert back to showing the nonsense
code level.
