I am willing to ftp the stuff here but determining an appropriate
directory is tough. See the following:
/usr: The file access permissions do not allow the specified action.
$ mkdir /viosupgrade
mkdir: 0653-357 Cannot access directory /.
/: The file access permissions do not allow the specified action.
$ ls
53782.082.000.snap.pax.Z smit.log tivoli
config smit. script
ioscli.log smit. transaction
$ mkdir viosupgrade
$ cd viosupgrade
rksh: cd: 0403-019 The operation is not allowed in a restricted shell.
$ rm viosupgrade
rm: 0653-603 Cannot remove directory viosupgrade.
$ ioslevel
2.2.3.3
Opened a ticket on it and so far they've only casually glanced at what I
posted and are suggesting that I edit some shell scripts to fix a known
issue with that.
I'm trying to explain to them that I'm still in the attempting to load the
fixes on to a work directory phase and haven't started to run any shell
scripts yet.

Weird. Let's me create a directory, but not change into it, nor remove
it. Sounds like some of the ftp exit points I've written. :-)
