QGYOLSPL is definitely the thing to use if you have more than will fit in a user space - OL stands for "object list", and you get a fixed number of items each time you call it, with a flag to say whether there are more to process.
It's a little more to figure out the first time, Bruce Vining's book on APIs in RPG IV is a great starting point and, IIRC, has examples - it's at home right now, so I can't verify that.

Scott K. mentioned the two to use for home grown tools. One thing to
know about these is that typical use is to dump the results into a User
Space and the typical storage is single level. This presents a problem
if your OUTQ contains a large quantity (dozens of thousands of entries).
The APIs run for a long time and then crash because the user space is
full and cannot be extended. I had not yet tested at what quantity
level that occurs at as the test time is quite long. A work around for
QUSLSPL is to supply a value for the User Data parameter. What
performance enhancements there are for QGYOLSPL I cannot say, since I
have not used this one much.
