I'm reading the flow chart of the Security Reference Manual to understand
and authority failure.
This is a web app call processed by QZDASOINIT. and the joblog shows the
profile used (group profile) and that profile was not authorized to fileX.
Finding that the web app changed last night and new features added, they
were calling and using files in another part of our system, which is
authorized to a different group profile.
So I added the 2nd profile as a supplemental to the first profile.
Still did not work.
As a temp fix, I gave the 1st group profile explicit authority to the
files. That works.
Perhaps I don't fully understand supplemental groups, or now after research
I wonder if QZDASOINIT does not refresh the authorities till that instance
ends? The test after adding supplemental group was definitely same
QZDASOINIT job nbr.
Can someone enlighten me?
