<Charles>Very cool.
How does that work? As understand ArdGate, the JDBC connection to SQL
server is handled by the AppServer running in another job.
So if the trigger does a connect / update..
How is it possible for
?ArdGate to know when DB2 does the commit and to propagate that
commit?</Charles>
ArdGate is registering a commit exit with os/400 API CCEXIT, so it is
called with all commit/rollback operations and the server part of ArdGAte
is tracking all Connections to all databases at job/ACTGRP level. This was
implemented in 2011, about 3 years ago.
