We have a product called RPG2SQL Integrator which allows you to read/write SQL Server and other databases from RPG or COBOL apps.

You can also read/write Excel spreadsheets.

Feel free to contact me if you would like a demo or to discuss your scenario further.

subject: Constant Update of SQl Server from an iSeries

I have client for a number of reasons wants to replicate certain files to SQL Server as database changes happen. No FTP every hour or SQL Server pulling data as needed etc. Live replication from DB2 files to a SQl Server DB.

Anyone doing this and if so what product(s) are you using?

Thanks

Kirk
