I just converted an LPAR from using Virtual SCSI under VIOS to
a Fibre Channel with NPIV. Steps were simple:
Jim, you did it the hardware .... You could have
1) create VFC ports
2) shutdown
3) add VFC ports to host
4) map the LUNs to the VFC host
5) IPL
No load source migration. No add/remove.
