Any idea what causes this..it's been working fine for a while - then it would only fire up after a hard re-boot.

Now it won't fire up at all..

This can be a pain, I wonder why IBM couldn't have included this functionality in the ASMI but anyway you need to follow this procedure,

Hi,

I have a LAN console plugged into an 8203-E4A at 7.1..

It works OK until we re-boot the system then the console will not come
up on the PC.....I also cannot ping the adapter..

Only a power off - then a restart will fire up the card..

What have I missed...
