Copy the spooled file to a text file (CPYSPLF may work, but our SPLTOOL may
work better to preserve formatting and you can use it free with a 30 day
key www.bvstools.com/spltool.html).

Then use a good text editor like Notepad++ to remove things you don't
want. Then upload and compile.

Done it many times. Sometimes I'm too fast with the option 4. :)

Couple of ways.
- CPYSPLF to a disk file. then file transfer, ftp , etc. Worst case,
download the file to PC, copy whole contents, paste into RDP and avoid
that screen at a time crap of SEU.
- Debug the object and maybe that has source debug enabled. Copy from
there.
- Grab a tape backup?

Subject: Rebuilding a source member from a spoolfile
Sent by: "MIDRANGE-L" <midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Lost some source code, rebuilding it from a spoolfile.
Currently doing using copy/paste, screen by screen.

Anyone know of any tricks or tips to accomplish this quicker.

Thank You
