Hey guys,

I'm trying to teach myself how to do an option 21 restore with v7r1 over IVM. I've been working on windows and linux for almost I decade and I have to say this is probably one of the most difficult things I've ever done.

What's confusing to me is that I see that PTFs don't carry over? Before doing the restore I'm 100% certain I made all PTFs permanent. Also, my virtual optical device didn't carry over either but I can't create OPTVRT01 because the name already exist? What the hell is going on? Also, how on earth am I supposed to figure out what didn't fully restore? The job log in the green-screen is absolutely enormous.
