No. It's all lower case.

- Any of the local PC's running Windows 7?
None of the local/remote PC'S have the same name. What else could be
causing this?

I had no idea to look for a message like this. This is really great to
know. I wish I could
receive a text message when this happens.


On one of my lpars I had no share, just a 5250 session. NETSTAT *CNN,
subsetted (F15) for just my IP address showed:
Remote Remote Local
Address Port Port
10.10.8.237 58295 telnet
or F14
10.10.8.237 58295 23

After creating a share it increased to
Remote Remote Local
Address Port Port
10.10.8.237 58295 telnet
10.10.8.237 58359 cifs
or F14
Remote Remote Local
Address Port Port
10.10.8.237 58295 23
10.10.8.237 58359 445
I'm guessing 10.10.8.237 is your machine that created the connection to
the share.
I see on mine:
75.79.XXX.XXX 56633 23
192.168.2.XXX 54194 139

The 75.79.xxx.xxx is the WAN IP of the LAN that I am trying to connect to
the share.
Of course I do have a Session open so I expect that.
The 192.168.2.xxx is on the AS/400 LAN and that PC is currently connected
to a share
on the AS/400. The share does work on the local LAN.


Can you route those ports?
Should I have a route in the routing table for the remote router?
Sonicwall support says those ports should pass through both routers.
I may have a way to test to see if the ports TCP 139 & 445, UDP 137 & 138
are open.
I'll try that.

I'm having trouble maping a network drive from a Win7 PC to an AS/400
going through
a FOP.

Win7 PC >> Sonicwall >> Internet >> Sonicwall >> AS/400
Local Remote
There is a site to site vpn tunnel setup between both SonicWalls.

I can ping the AS/400 from the Win7 PC and I can ping the Win7 PC from
the
AS/400
On the remote LAN AS/400 side I have a network share set up. All
computers on that
LAN can see the network share.
On the local LAN I can't see the AS/400 network share.
I have discussed this with Sonicwall technical support a few times and
they keep saying
it's something on the AS/400 that needs configuring.

The AS/400 has an IP address of 192.168.2.xxx
The AS/400 has a Route Destination *DFTROUTE
Subnet Mask *NONE
Next Hop 192.168.2.XXX This is the IP address of the
Sonicwall on the remote side (AS/400)
Preferred Interface *NONE

Of course the XXX's are replaced with actual numbers.

Does anyone know what I need to do so the Network Share can be seen on
the
local
Win7 PC?
