The new process was related to joblogs created from QSH.

DLTSPLF FILE(*SELECT) SELECT(*ALL *ALL *ALL QZSHSH)
129277 files deleted. 0 files not deleted.
DLTSPLF FILE(*SELECT) SELECT(*ALL *ALL *ALL QP0ZSPWP)
130365 files deleted. 0 files not deleted.

Freed up 250,000+ job table entries.

Available . . . : 259686
Total . . . . . : 438531

I need to identify which jobds are being used when QSH is called, change these to *NOLIST.
I would also like to find where QSH is called and/or submitted, review that process.

Paul,

Try WRKJOBLOG JOBLOGSTT(*PENDING). If any are listed consider deleting them.

We launched a new app several weeks ago, each occurrence of this creates a new job and job log.
We previously ran about 4,000 jobs per day, now we are now up to 18,000 jobs per day, on the average.
I keep joblogs for 90 days.
We now hit 90% of job tables,
WRKSYSVAL SYSVAL(QMAXJOB) already set at max, cannot be increased. I wish this could be increased.

Maximum . . . . : 485000

I think my only option is to change the new app not to create a job
log,

Any other thoughts from the group.
