:) Seriously, again, and for who might not know, IBM is using an approach of don't spend development time and people on something that is already doing just what we want. That is why there is stuff being run in PASE that is used by us all the time.

Even IBM has limits on resources - the question is always, where should we spend those resources, whether money or people?

More seriously when you combine the APIs that are opened up along with Nathan's list below it makes quite an Open argument.

I wonder when IBM HQ is going to wake up and realize what they have. They won't: the reason, it will drive sales and profits. (Partly at the expense of the mainframe/MVS which is the real reason)

Node.js is especially known for its support for I/O streaming, whether that be the local file system, sockets, creating lightweight HTTP servers and HTTP clients, encryption, zip and unzip, and other string handling.

3. Java.
