Subject: Refresh my memory: what is it that controls the public authority . . .
Could somebody please remind me what it is that controls the public authority when new programs and files are created?
Also: is there any setting (other than the obvious case of the object's owner not existing on the target system) that can cause a change in the public authority when an object is restored from a save file?
