Basically I set up her new user access, added the appropriate menus she
needed, her library was created when she logged in, the "lists" file also as
part of her library the group she is in uses.. ownership is hers, *all
permissions are hers.. I just don't get what I'm missing. I even had the
previous programmer on the phone this morning and he walked me through
deleting and re-creating the library to make sure I did it properly, and
still get the same error.

Alex,
"I still get this error" - leads me to guess YOU (or maybe WE) do not have
the required rights to files LISTS and PRINTOUT in "her" G092KMB library ?

What I don't know much about is the >"we continue to get this error . . ."
process< so I guess that process is performed by another user profile which
lacks rights to update the files in the
target library ?

Subject: upload file error

I've been trying to find a solution to this error. We have a bit of a unique
system, we are a piping company, I am the new IT guy, learning AS 400, and
this error is the last of the config errors I have to work through.

The problem is, the library owner and all the objects in it are assigned
properly to her. She both owns them and has full access to them, yet we
continue to get this error when we try to upload to that list. They are .dat

files that get put into her library called G092KMB, and within the library
there are two objects "Lists" and "Printout", both of type *File. (More like

folders I assume.)

Our "Programmer" is now gone, and he's helped me get this far, and he
suggested I transfer ownership to this user which I have successfully done,
but I still get this error, no matter what I try. If you can't see the
screen shot in

this forum the error is a CPF2207 not authorized to use object LISTS library
G092KMB type *FILE
