The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

You have to look at the errors that you generate from your trigger as any
error the system might generate.
To date, we have embedded logic in applications to perform data validation,
RI constraints, etc. prior to record inserts, update, and deletes. - so
that they generate custom error messages and don't run into system error
messages.
But we're rethinking our approach.
This whole adding database integrity is great. However if you're
applications are from the 1970's ...
I understand. Modernization may require changes to existing application
code.
