The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

So, it doesn't look like it <ed: QPTFOBJ1 *LIB> gets saved with
either <ed: of the SAVLIB *IBM or SAVLIB *ALLUSR requests>.
From new system <ed: DSPOBJD QPTFOBJ1 *LIB>:
Creation information:
Creation date/time . . . . . . . . . : 07/26/14 01:36:19
Created by user . . . . . . . . . . : QSYS
System created on . . . . . . . . . : MAIL1

<<SNIP comparative OIR for other libs>>
Given the libraries named QPTFOBJ1 and QPTFOBJ2 replaced the function
of the Replace Object (QRPLOBJ) library [with regard to PTF apply and
remove activity], probably best to compare the OIR of those libraries
with the QRPLOBJ library, rather than comparing against the OIR of any
other system or user libraries.
Note: The QRPLOBJ library is not saved as part of normal B&R, and the
library is created on-demand on the system [likely within the job that
first requires the existence of that library for that function]. I
expect that the treatment of the QPTFOBJ# libraries will mimic that of
the QRPLOBJ library. Seems some IBM i 7.2 docs may be getting updated
with the new library names.
