Larry,

I added to QSTRUP, tested with QPGMR running the process.
I then tested the CPY, all working.

I'm puzzled with the authority that was created. (There are no authorized users for this object.)

Type . . . . . . . . . . . . . : DIR
Owner . . . . . . . . . . . . : QSYS
Primary group . . . . . . . . : *NONE
Authorization list . . . . . . : *NONE

Type options, press Enter.
1=Add user 2=Change user authority 4=Remove user

Data --Object Authorities--
Opt User Authority Exist Mgt Alter Ref


(There are no authorized users for this object.)

Any thoughts?

Back on another thread, you gave me instructions on how to create a directory entry in QFileSvr.400 so by using CPY I could easily CPY IFS items from one LPAR to another.
This works great, but the entry is deleted on an IPLs.
Is there a way of making this permanent?
Or do I need to include this in QSTRUP?
