Yep. I saw that followup reply clarifying that the receivers for the QAUDJRN were in QSYS, but only after I had already composed and sent my above-quoted post.

And of course that the *JRNRCV objects were also in QSYS, suggests that my first reply about SAVSYS operating with UPDHST(*NO) was the origin for no "save history" in the OIR of those journal receivers; even though I was incorrectly replying with regard to the journal. Also that the "save history" information for all of QSYS is stored in a proxy, effected in one OIR update to the *DTAARA named QSAVSYS in QSYS; updated at the end of the [¿successful?] Save System request.
