Items can be saved without updating the history. From the note below from the help screen, if that happens the receiver will still have a status of SAVED but the date/time will not be updated.
SAVED
The receiver was saved after it was detached. The receiver
storage was not freed when it was saved.
Note: If the save history of the receiver was not updated
when it was saved, it may not have a save date or time. The
receiver will still appear as saved in the receiver
directory, however.
