Hopefully your objects are all secured with an authorization list. This
way you can then make one change and affect all objects. You would add
the person to the authorization list with read only access and be done
with it.
Look into securing your objects with an authorization list.

You may run into lock issues when running GRTOBJAUT. That's the beauty of
authorization lists. Get a free time to add the authorization list. After
that you can add/change/delete users in the authorization list and you do
not have to worry about the locks again.
