Re: Google Docs

The world is in a huge limbo now with all this "cloud" stuff. We IBMi
(errr AS400) guys know all about it... change is never fun.

You'll have those on one side that are "all about the cloud" and those who
still insist on using the latest MS Office. Their online office stuff
looks promising as well.

Just always export as RTF and things should be fine. :)

I went from office to open office a while back, and am slowly trying to
make the change to Google docs from open office.

What's holding me back? My ISP... DSL with a 1m upload limit that
bottlenecks everything else. Apparently they think it's still 2001 and
people are running personal FTP servers and web pages for myspace. :)

Also, a couple of our customers use the latest and greatest MS office and
those formats are always compatible with docs (or open office). Easily
remedied if they save it to an older format.
