I would need to restore only QDLS and IFS user's folder from an
iSeries to another ; I see in documentation the following commands:

SAV DEV('/QSYS.LIB/media-device-name.DEVD') +
OBJ(('/*') ('/QSYS.LIB' *OMIT) +
('/QDLS' *OMIT) +
('/QIBM/ProdData' *OMIT) +
('/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData' *OMIT)) +
UPDHST(*YES)

and

RST DEV('/QSYS.LIB/media-device-name.DEVD')
OBJ(('/*') ('/QSYS.LIB' *OMIT)
('/QDLS' *OMIT)
('/QIBM/ProdData' *OMIT)
('/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData' *OMIT))

But in this way I save and restore also bin, core, dev, lib, ecc.
where I'm wrong ??

Perhaps the following two requests for the save? I am unsure of the ability to effect omit for '/Q*' [as shown, may not be supported], but the explicit omits of the /QSYS.LIB and the /QDLS are both required to be specified explicitly [at least in older releases] to prevent an error msg CPF382B "Parameters not valid with multiple file systems." on the SAV request:

SAVDLO *ALL

SAV OBJ(('/*') ('/QSYS.LIB' *OMIT) ('/QDLS' *OMIT) +
('/bin' *OMIT) ('/core' *OMIT) ('/dev' *OMIT) +
('/lib' *OMIT) ('/tmp' *OMIT) ('/Q*' *OMIT) +
) +
PRECHK(*YES) UPDHST(*NO)
