The SQL offers mapped data, implicitly. There is little difference
between what native and SQL provide for mapping, as I recall.
Seems the lack of an ability for the SQL to ignore unmatched fields
[by name] is the conspicuous problem. Even for that however, a
dynamically built statement can easily enough resolve, given the
provision of the SQL catalogs.
