5901s? Oops. Those have no cache so there's your performance problem,
then add the 10K RPM drives and turtle sounds about right. :-(

My Production LPAR screams with the SSD.
R&D is 4 times slower with the 10k drives.
LPAR 3, 10k with 5901, is like a turtle.
