A typical e-mail recipient may be able to get the gist of the /chart/ but both the /archives/ as recipient and /news/ [i.e. nntp] as recipient of that email will receive a somewhat unusable jumble of text, wherever other-than just plain-text was used; e.g. as seen here, that message as it appears in the archive:

So... Best to include a link to whatever was the source material,
*if* there is any intention to share the non-text content with those who would encounter the message via the archives [or news] interface; e.g.
