Kari,
I have installed this freeware product numerous times on V5R4 through V7R1.
I recall having to "move" the compiled objects from QTEMP to your library of choice, usually SMTP. Perform this move after this instruction
completes successfully: STRREXPRC SRCMBR(MAKE). This is undocumented
and I'm only pulling this from memory. If you have a good handle on library lists and the like, this should be a breeze to re-install and locate all the >missing pieces.
I'm very sorry about that. I think I have fried my brain from learning
so much, including trying this today! Thank you all for your help. I
will start working on getting the program and the command together. I
FTP-ed the SNDM and must have missed something.. Thank you all again.

1) a command
2) a program
You have the command. What you don't have is the program. A command
by itself is a nothing. A command is simply a way to execute a program.

It does in fact say *LIBL, but when I do a WRKOBJ it shows theSNDM in library SMTP.

crazy thought. Do a DSPCMD SNDM and see if it says *LIBL for theto run or points to a specific library.

Don't forget that the command and the program are 2 different things.
The _command_ might exist, but not the _program_.
