There are a couple vendor offerings - RJS Software has their RJSOFFICE app that would work with templates and all - it doesn't even need STRPCCMD - has its own server on the PCs.

And SEQUEL has an option to create an RTF from spooled files.

I no longer work at RJS, and we just bought SEQUEL, so I'm learning what is possible there.
