David is correct you can journal data areas, and several more objects.
I do urge some caution to speak with your System Administration folks.
Your environment requires some thought before starting journaling or additional journaling. ( having been there to work on those systems in
the recent past ) The backup/recovery procedures will need to change
in addition to several BRMS defaults. Not hard, nor time consuming,
until you need the tapes......

I've never used this, but it appears you you an journal a data area or data queue using STRJRNOBJ.
