When you say webfacing, what product. Does the HTTP server not run, check
the logs and or your webfacing logs. If using websphere the older versions
should continue to run under the new os(I would think they would). Do you
have all group ptfs installed as well.

The first thing I always look for in server startup issues [after an
upgrade], is for authority failures; i.e. review for and resolve any T-AF
entries logged in the audit journal.
