Already tried an ALIAS, but with over 90 million records, it's going to be tough for them to search for one instance which will be towards the end of the file (member)

I bet they can use an ALIAS. Try it.
create alias ALIAS_01 for LIBRARY.BASE_TABLE(MEMBER_01)

They might not care for the column names, but at least they can get at the data.

An alternative is to write a stored procedure they can call which will let your RPG program select the proper member and return the nicely named result set.
